Venue: Confederate Home & Merchant’s Hall
Cole was the definition of a trusting bride. She put all the faith in the world into mine and Blythe Hill’s hands. Needless to say, we saw an opportunity to be truly summery and truly bold. So, we took a sherbet palette hinging on pink floral linens, fluffy viburnum and bold butter tones. The challenge was, to take these inspiration images and transform the space to create movement around the room at Merchant’s Hall while simultaneously intimacy in each space. Using a variety of tables in terms of shape and size, and a a mix of centerpieces ranging from overhead installations to tall monochromatic pieces to colored candles to traditional floral, we made it happen. And the result was a light, airy, romantic Charleston afternoon, where Cole and Nick exchanged vows in the sweet, sweet summertime sunshine.
