Never have I been so humbled as a wedding vendor in my community than I was the day we got married. On this day, a host of people, whom I’ve crossed paths with and been moved by in my career, came together with a mission to make this moment as memorable for me and my husband, Parker, as possible. And their mission was a massive success. Early on, my friend Lindsey Boyce and I were working on a special project, unrelated to this special day. When I got engaged in the midst of this project, it’s almost like we knew simultaneously that we were meant to work together on my wedding. I knew she would be mindful to curate the details in a meaningful way, and she knew I wanted a heavy hand in the florals. She heard each request, and she carefully orchestrated each detail. And what came together was proof of what you can pull off for the love of a friend. As I said, Lindsey knew I wanted to be involved in the floral design, so I had to carefully curate my team. A team I knew who could handle everything in my absence. To these women, I will be indebted for life. Candice Broyles, Courtney Zentner, Lauren Mosier and the dear, sweet Martha McIntosh came in to execute the floral train I’d set in motion. I just let them take the wheel. And what you see here is a testament to what dear women with huge hearts and fierce talent will create for someone just out of the goodness of their souls. Every time I see a moment from our wedding, I realize how blessed I am. This was truly the best day of our lives. I got to revel in the love of this industry (and mind you, these people bring this love on a regular basis, because we LOVE what we do) and marry my love, very best friend, and very favorite person.
