There’s something about an intimate wedding. There’s something about the way that your closest friends and family come together with warmth in their heart to celebrate only you and your beloved. It’s not about a big band or an open bar or even a big gathering where your friends and family can see those who they haven’t for a long time. But it’s really just about y’all: the couple celebrating their love. That’s how it was on this late May afternoon when Caroline and Thomas sealed the deal. A solo reception table offset by adirondack chairs overlooking Charleston’s marshes set the scene for tasty light bites and a hazy sunset. The design was inspired by an India Hicks meets Ralph Lauren effortlessness, and the delicate and intentionally chosen details were nothing short of perfection. It was simple, sleepy, slow, Southern perfection.
